Dad bought tickets for us all to take the historic Kettle Valley steam-train ride when we were in Kelowna this summer. In this picture, the conductor has taken my niece for a stroll to the front of the car we were riding in.

Today, it sounds like the old trestles are burning down. I'm not sure where they are in relation to where we went for the train ride, but still.

It's too bad.
