Just off the phone with T, who wants the cabin as is, so we have a verbal agreement and will meet with a lawyer this week sometime to start the paperwork.

I can’t help feeling a bit of regret at the same time as I am glad it is done. A cabin at the lake is something I wished for all my life, and knowing it was there even if I rarely used it was a good feeling.

Well, it’ll be a few thousand bucks back in my pocket instead of the steady trickle out. I’ve told L I’ll gladly spend it on building that screened-in deck we’ve been talking about, if only he will commit some time to its construction before I come up with some other way to use the cash.
