Where is my Companion Planting book?
Kate
21:29h
3 p.m. Freezing cold out there today; it froze overnight, Farmboy said, and did the same on Monday night. Good thing I haven’t yet forgotten to bring my bedding plants in at night. I’m going to go out and see if I can stand the cold. If so, I’ll go put some onions in the ground. 3:30 p.m. With a sleeveless t-shirt, a long-sleeved denim shirt, a fleece jacket, and a cotton jacket over top, it’s not so bad out there in the cold wind. The garden soil has been turned over a couple times so is nice and loose, and though there’s been rain recently, it’s not too wet. So now I want to find my book on companion planting, before I stick anything in the ground. It’s been over 10 years since I had a veggie garden, and I don’t remember too much about complementary planting. Carrots and tomatoes like to be together, and marigolds keep certain insects off of tomatoes, and corn and pumpkins do well together, and that’s all I recall. That means digging through boxes, but I did that a couple days ago and didn’t find the book. So where is it? Sheesh. xoxo
