I posted an entry today to Stubblejumpers Café that introduces a new character and gives more detail about one that has been only lightly touched on before, and at the end of it I thought, "Yeah, but so what? Why should anyone care?"

I am in danger of boring myself to death.

Last night my notebook was at hand but I didn't want to write my own story. I wanted to go read somebody else's fiction. I wanted to be entertained.
