Here's Chester, all sweet and silly over a little girlie coming over to see him. Barney and I are making a storybook for my one-year-old niece, Trinket. She has everything a little girl could need or want, and more (look at that pink sheepskin jacket; say no more), and since I am not at her home enough to know what she has and hasn’t already got, we could make something unique that she might enjoy. So I wrote a little storypoem about her visit to her cousins here on the farm, and took her for a little tour when she was here on Thursday morning. It was very cold, but we bundled up as best we could and took the camera along. The plan is to develop some of the photos, cut out and paste pictures of the animals and kids into the story, laminate the pages, bind them with a coil, and voila - Trinket on the Farm. It was damn cold out, so it was a quick tour. She said “Cow!” when we went to look at them, and was most thrilled with the kittens and cats. The chickens didn’t seem to excite her much. And it was too fricking frigid to take her a little farther and see the horses. <>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>><><><><<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<> In Saskatoon, we three sisters and Trinket stayed at the home of a friend of Suzanne’s on Thursday night after doing some downtown shopping and ordering pizza for supper at my other niece’s place. Loie is my sister Jill’s daughter, age 18. She was the second child I ever fell in love with; the first was her older brother, BeWell. Suzanne’s friends were disappointed I hadn’t remembered my tarot cards, but the next morning I did a reading for our hostess, using regular playing cards. <>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>><><><><<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<> as promised, here is the V of Swords from the Morgan-Greer tarot deck: ...
